I was born and raised in a small country town in the Great Southern. I later moved to Perth where I completed my Physiotherapy (Bsc) degree. Following this, I moved to Collie in the South West where I worked as a regional private practitioner. My time in the region was an amazing experience and allowed me to indulge in my passion for the outdoors, whilst exploring a new part of our beautiful country. It was also a steep learning curve; you never knew what was coming through the doors next, as is the way of country practice in particular!
I love the variety my job offers me, treating various conditions in newborns through to seniors, as well as meeting people from all walks of life. However the reason I became a Physiotherapist, is because I am a believer in quality health care. This is reflected in my work as I strive to help individuals improve their quality of life and actuate their goals; be it a half marathon or touching your toes again. It is this passion for quality health care that drove me to develop services that allowed young families in Collie and Harvey to access funding bodies, and receive the care they needed in clinics close to home.
Two areas of Physiotherapy particularly close to my heart are paediatrics and clinical pilates. Since graduating I have completed further studies in both areas, as well as training in dry needling. I recently relocated to Perth and fell in love with the ethos here at Stellar Physio; exceptional health care from people who care! I look forward to welcoming you all at our practice.
